Witherby Publishing Group Appoints Capt. Gerard J. Pollock as Director of Digital Projects
Witherbys is delighted to announce the appointment of Capt. Gerard J Pollock in the newly created position of Director of Digital Projects.
With a strong interest in new technologies and after having provided consultancy services to Witherbys over the last three years, Gerard now joins as we announce our return to focus on computer based training (CBT) and the exploration of further digital opportunities.
Delivered through Witherby Connect, which is recognised by major flag States and provides over 40,000 ships access to our nautical publications, technical guides and compliance guidelines, our new suite of training courses and products will benefit from his experience during their design and development.
As a Master Mariner, Gerard leverages over 25 years of experience in commercial shipping, superyachts and maritime regulations. Until recently a flag/Port State Control (PSC) inspector, he provides regulatory and compliance insight and practical expertise in risk management.
